Women, Technology and the Future

As a part of our spring program at Dunbar Recreation Center in Mechanicsville, our teen girls are planning a fun, one day “Lock-In”. The “Lock-In” targets 50 young women (15-18) and will explore the issues facing women in the workforce of the future with a focus on entertainment and technology. The “Lock-In” will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Dunbar Recreation Center, 477 Windsor Street NW, Atlanta GA 30324, from 11am – 5pm. Student will be on spring break this week. The theme for the day is “Women, Technology and the Future”. As a valued partner, we would like to invite you to register your students to participate. We are presently registering student participants. The event is FREE to participate and space is limited to 50 young ladies. Our guest presenters represent a who’s who of Atlanta’s creative community including engineers, producers, songwriters, attorneys, technology and business leaders.
